For: WKHS Sophomores and Juniors

The PSAT is the practice test for the SAT. This is a great opportunity for students to begin to assess their progress toward college and career readiness standards.  For the first time ever, Worthington is offering this test free of charge to all interested sophomores and juniors.  

Juniors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to take the test!  This is an important practice test for the SAT and it is also the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship competition. Even though you took the test in past years you should re-take the test as a Junior to try to open you up for scholarship opportunities!  


I cannot stress enough how much I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.  I saw the list of students who have already signed up and was disappointed by the numbers of "my" students.  I have over 150 sophomores and juniors and I only have 50 students who have signed up to test.  There are so few opportunities (especially free opportunities) that you can practice a standardized college admissions test.
