Harboring Hope

This information is actually for your parents... and if your mom/ dad does not get this post emailed to them, I hope you will please pass this information on to your parents for me!

One week from tonight, Thursday, September 8th, at 7:00pm, Worthington Kilbourne High School will host a special evening called "Harboring Hope: A simple conversation could save a life."

International Suicide Prevention experts, Dr. Darcy Haag-Granello, and Dr. Paul Granello, will share information about how caring adults can help make a difference in the lives of our students.  While some parents may not be concerned about the risk of suicide for their own children, it is a potential concern for your children's friends or acquaintances and, therefore, you never know when this information may make all the difference.

This presentation has been made possible through a grant from the Worthington Education Foundation as their way of helping to promote the well being of all students in the district.  All parents, grandparents, neighbors or community members are invited to attend, but please note that this evening is for adults only.

I truly hope that you will make the time to attend this special presentation!  See you next Thursday!
