I wanted to remind you again that tomorrow night, Monday, November 4th is the Junior Student and Parent
College Information Night in the auditorium. The meeting begins at 7:00pm.
Tomorrow (Monday, November 4th) and Thursday (November 7th) are Parent/ Teacher conferences so if your parents are interested in meeting with your teachers and haven't already signed up for a meeting, please encourage them to do that as soon as possible.
You don't have school on Tuesday, November 5th. It is election day (so if you've turned 18 hopefully you will take advantage of your first opportunity to go vote). Because there will be so many people in schools across the district for voting, there isn't school for students - your safety is the utmost priority. Teachers will be participating in professional development activities all day.
The other piece of information that I wanted to let you know about regarding this week is that I will be out of the building on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a conference. Since I won't be around for the second half of the week, if you know that you need something, please make sure to stop by and see me tomorrow.
And then, next weekend you get a 3 day weekend with Monday, November 11th being off for Veteran's Day and the day to make up for the parent/ teacher conferences.
It's hard to believe that it is November and if this week is any indication, it is going to be another wild month. :-)
