WKHS is partnering with Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio to put on a program called "Lose the Training Wheels" and volunteers are needed! This is a camp to help teach kids with Down Syndrome how to ride their bikes without training wheels. The volunteer experience will take place at WKHS in the Aux Gym and the stadium track during the week of June 14 - 18. There are five individual session times that you can choose from that are between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Applications are located in the Co-Curricular office at WKHS and you can select specific session times on the application. This is a great cause and you will help others with just a little bit of your own time.
The automatic emails from this site are no longer happening. You can receive posts from the new site - www.wkhscounselors.wordpress.com. I've written 3,951 posts since launching this site which is pretty crazy. I appreciate everyone who has followed along the way. The new site is a way for all WKHS students and families to gather the information and not just "my" families. So please, join us there. And know I appreciate you still coming back to read the updates.
